The Board of Trustees and the members of staff of the Benaki Museum convey their deepest sorrow for the passing of Academician and Professor Angelos Delivorrias, who steered the Museum for 45 years as its Director and as a member of its Board of Trustees.

His all-encompassing intellect, his trust in humanity, his indefatigable dedication and his boundless creativity became a source of inspiration for all those who were lucky enough to meet him either personally or through his important work.

This is an unbearable loss for all.
