Leading British archaeologist Colin Renfrew (Lord Renfrew of Kaimsthorn) will give a talk entitled “Looting the Past: from Desecrated Tombs to International Museums”.
Professor Renfrew has conducted numerous excavations in Greece and was Director of the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research at the University of Cambridge.
Colin Renfrew will be introduced by archaeologist Dr. Alexandros Mantis, Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of Corinth.
The talk is taking place in the framework of the exhibition «History Lost», which is about the illicit trade of antiquities in Greece, Cyprus and the world.
