Lecture by the contemporary explorer Robert Swan
Lecture by the contemporary explorer Robert Swan
TUE 24/04/2007
Robert Swan is one of the greatest explorers and adventurers who by the age of 33, he had become the first person to walk to both the North and South poles. The successful completion of his poles expeditions marked the beginning of a new phase in his life, shaping a lifetime goal for him –to work for the preservation of the Antarctic as the last great wilderness on earth.

Mr Robert Swan’s lecture on the “Leadership on the edge” is part of the British Council’s contribution to EcoWeek 2007, which marks 2007 as International Polar Year and focuses on global warning and climate change.
