Concert in honour of the New Hellenic Quartet

The New Hellenic Quartet (N.H.Q.) is considered the pre-eminent Greek chamber music ensemble currently active. It was founded in 1991 by Yiorgos Demertzis with musicians Dimitris Handrakis (violin), Hara Seira (viola) and Apostolos Handrakis (cello).
The quartet's activities include performing concerts throughout the world and participating in various major festivals. Its repertoire is distinguished by works from the classical repertoire, as well as the rich variety of Greek musical creations.

This evening in its honour will take place to celebrate a change in its composition, as well as the quartet's collaboration with the Benaki Museum.
