The event is held in honour of to the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, on the occasion of World Museum Day and as part of a series of events organised by the Benaki Museum honouring and highlighting the work carried out by certain cultural organisations in the study and promotion of Greek culture.

The following speakers will talk about the Foundation’s contribution and activities: Mr. Yiorgos Georgis, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece; Mr. Kostis Kolotas, philologist / author / Member of the B.o.D. of the Cultural Foundation; Ms. Lefki Mihailidou, Director of the Cultural Foundation; and Dimitris Daskalopoulos, poet and bibliographer.
Introductions will be provided by Professor Angelos Delivorrias, Director of the Benaki Museum and Mr. Yiannis Kypri, Chairman of the B.o.D. of the Cultural Foundation.
The talks will be followed by a piano recital by internationally famous concert pianist, Cyprien Katsaris.
The purpose of the event is, on the one hand to make the Foundation’s contribution more widely known and acknowledged, and on the other hand, to strengthen further the substantial existing relationship between the foundation and cultural events in Greece.
