On the occasion of World Music Day, the Musical Ensembles of the City of Athens are giving a concert in honour of Dionysis Savvopoulos. The Dance-Theatre Roes will also participate in this performance.
The Symphony Orchestra, under the musical direction of Eleutherios Kalkanis, the Joint Choir led by director Stavros Beris and the Big Band led by Yiannis Terezakis will interpret everybody’s favourite Dionysis Savvopoulos songs, including” “Mia thalassa mikri” (A little sea), “Elsa se fovamai” (Elsa I fear for you), "Mi milas allo gi’ agape" (Talk no more of love), "Mas varane defia" (They’re banging on the tambourines) and others.
The songs will be sung by: Panos Mouzourakis, Vassiliki Karakosta and Yiorgos Mylonas.
Dionysis Savvopoulos will participate.
