A presentation of the book “Greek Modern Art 1974-2004” by art historian Yannis Kolokotronis. The author selects 134 contemporary Greek artists, who with their oeuvre have left an indelible mark on the artistic landscape of Greece after the fall of the dictatorship; he studies artistic trends and shares images from the oeuvre of these major creative artists.
The value of this book is increased through the personal testimony of the artists themselves.
The book presentation will include talks by the Minister of Culture Michalis Liapis, academician Panagiotis Tetsis, and artist Costas Tsoclis. The event will be coordinated by the President of the Foundation Mrs. Virginia Tsouderou.
