The book “Great Moments in Greek Archaeology” invites us on a journey through the most significant archaeological digs that have been carried out in Greek territories from the time the Modern Greek State was established to this day. The lively text and rich illustrations offer readers a chronicle of the discovery of the Ancient Greek world and bring to life those great moments and the emotions these elicited throughout the world.
The publication was supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The event will include talks by: Professor Lord Renfrew of Kaimsthorn, Professor Dimitrios Pantermalis, Professor Panos Valavanis and Mark Greenberg.
