The Spring Equinox on March 21st marks the start of spring; for this reason this day was chosen as World Poetry Day. As part of this celebration, the Benaki Museum will organise an event in honour of the poet, Nikiforos Vrettakos.
The following individuals will talk about the poet and his work: Eratosthenis Kapsomenos, Professor at the University of Ioannina; Vincenzo Rotolo, Professor Emeritus at the University of Palermo; Titos Patrikios, poet; Vangelis Athanassopoulos, Professor at the University of Athens; David Connolly, associate professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; and Eleni Tzinieri-Tzanetakou, head of the Nikiforos Vrettakos Archive.
