A day conference organised in parallel with the exhibition “From the Land of the Golden Fleece: Treasures of Ancient Colchis. The following archaeologists will give talks: Christos Doumas, Vassiliki Adrymi-Sismani, David Lordkipanidze, Darejan Kacharava, Guram Kvirkvelia and Nino Lordkipanidze. They will expand on themes concerning the historical bases for the myth of the Argonautic Expedition and will present findings from excavations at Vani in Georgia, the location that provided all the finds in this exhibition.

The conference will be held in English.
