The concert programme includes hymns and songs for Holy Week and Easter from the musical tradition of the Christians of Lebanon and Syria, laments from the folk tradition of Greece, scholarly music from Constantinople, as well as Prosmoni (Expectation) a piece by Kyriakos Kalaïtzidis, inspired by St. John's Revelations, presented for the first time by the State Theatre for Northern Greece in a concert performance, in 1996.
