Mando Dalianis-Karambatzakis's book is a translation into Greek of her doctoral thesis Children in Turmoil during the Greek Civil War 1046-49: Today's Adults, which was published in English in 1994 in Sweden. This is a timeless study of children confined in prison alongside their incarcerated mothers, during the period of the Greek Civil War.
