The Benaki Museum honours Edmund Keeley an intellectual, a keen supporter of Greek letters, a philhellene and an untiring ambassador for Modern Greek culture overseas. Renowned men of letters and scholars of Modern Greek literature will talk about Edmund Keeley’s work as translator and author, attempting to describe the man himself and provide an overall look at the contributions he has made to his field. 

Speakers: Thanassis Valtinos, Nassos Vagenas, Yiorgis Yiatromanolakis, Dimitris Daskalopoulos, Dinos Siotis. 

This is one of a series of annual events at which the Benaki Museum honours the work of exceptional people of culture, highlighting both the importance of their scientific contributions, and their contributions to society in general.
