The day conference organised in line with the exhibition: “Kostas Balafas. Antartiko – Guerrilla Warfare in Epirus, 1940-1944”, will include scholarly papers on photography in the resistance at the time of the German occupation, both in Athens and in the rest of Greece.
The event will close with a discussion of photography as a testament to what has taken place.
