ON ICE is a project that narrates the history of human evolution. It is a projection of the human species through features of those cultures it developed and which, in the end, collapsed. The installation created for this project, supports the opinion that the equilibrium between man and nature is sensitive and simultaneously insinuates mankind’s self-delusion in believing they hold sway over nature and time. The construction comprises a metal base and a piece of ice, upon which the interpreters – a man and a woman - are called upon to narrate the history of their “social” gender and the roles each has adopted or been subjected to, during the evolution of the human species. 

The performance takes place within the framework of the 10th Dance Festival of the Association of Greek Choreographers.
