The event  is organized in the framework of the 8th Thessaloniki Book Fair.
The book concerns the personal testimony of Ellie Pappas on her endeavours in the leftist movement from 1940-1990. Her experiences, combined with the political stage of the era, highlight the hopes and dead-ends of the Greek left-wing through the landscape of the popular movement. She also records her relationships with figureheads of the Greek communist movement, including Nikos Ploumbidis. The dominant relationship, in this document, is that with Nikos Beloyiannis.

The event will include talks by: Stelios Nestor, Honorary lawyer and Tasos Sakellaropoulos, Historian - Head of the Historical Archives of the Benaki Museum.
