The Benaki Museum honours Titos Patrikios, one of the major Greek poets of the twentieth century. 
One of the main exponents of the poetry of defeat, Titos Patrikios took an active part in the historical events that influenced the destiny of the Greek people, discussing the social and political realities of the twentieth century, which was so hard for Greece; contriving to transubstantiate historical discourse into poetical discourse. 
Eleni Antoniadi, Panayiotis Noutsos, Alexis Politis, Dimitris Raftopoulos, Yiorgos Stafnidis and Lizzie Tsiromokou will give talks.
This is one of a series of annual events at which the Benaki Museum honours the work of exceptional people of culture, highlighting both the importance of their scientific contributions, and their contributions to society in general.
