The Benaki Museum is organizing a one-day conference to honour Yiannis Pappas and his oeuvre, with the topic Yiannis Pappas and post-war sculpture. During this meeting, art historians will focus on the study of specific aspects of his oeuvre and will attempt to chart the influence of the times he lived in, both through his artistic and his teaching oeuvre. To this latter end, besides the scientific talks, there will be a discussion panel with several of Yiannis Pappas’ students and collaborators.
