Are you ready for the first bookwave in Greece? 
Discover it at the Benaki Museum at Pireos Street! 

Bookwave 2013 is an original nonprofit book drive that will be held at the Benaki Museum in November in partnership with the Benaki Museum and is being accomplished with the kind support of the Bodossaki Foundation. Its aim is to collect books for the libraries of kindergartens, primary schools and child care institutions in Athens and Attica. The driving force behind this initiative is Library4all, an NGO committed to lifelong learning and making education accessible to all. 

The public is welcome to participate by donating new or gently used books between the 21st and the 24th of November. The books will be collected on the first floor of the Pireos Street building of the Benaki Museum. 

On the weekend of the 23rd-24th November, at the same venue, the Educational Programs Department of the Benaki Museum will hold free inspiring hands-on workshops for children aged 5-12.
