The Society of Greek Art Historians (EEIT), with the intent of familiarizing the Greek public with some of the more important European art movements, invites internationally renowned art historians, to lead day-long seminars focusing on showcasing the artistic output of a certain period and/or the oeuvre of a major artist.

This time the EEIT’s guest is Timothy James Clark, an art historian and writer, who taught art history in a number of universities in England and the United States, including Harvard and the University of California, Berkeley. He is one of the world’s foremost art historians. He has been influential in developing the field of art history, examining modern paintings as an articulation of the social and political conditions of modern life.
