Three years after his first album entitled Guitar Music by Greek Composers, Giorgos Tosikian presents his second album of composures entitled Mosaic. This new collection of musical compositions for classic guitar is inspired by musical traditions from the Balkans, Greece, Asia Minor, Armenia, Iran and Israel. The program includes compositions by Evangelos Boudounis, Dusan Bogdanovic, Carlo Domeniconi, Iakovos Kolanian, Lily Afshar and Sid Robinovitch. This collection of compositions gathers all these phenomenically different parts of musical traditions and creates a harmonious whole, a musical mosaic.
