A presentation of the publication “Pavlos Samios. Zografiki Apologia” (Pavlos Samios. Painting Apology) which accompanies the exhibition of the same name dedicated to the work of Pavlos Samios, published by Militos Editions and supervised by Maria Xanthakou, the curator of the Benaki Museum exhibition. 

The book presents the artist’s works in sections, according to theme, and it includes essays that have been written by distinguished historians and critics regarding Pavlos Samios’ work. 

The welcome speech will be given by Angelos Delovorrias.

Talks will be given by Petros Efthymiou, Takis Theodoropoulos, Cecile Inglessi Margellos and Ioannis Anastasios Metaxas. 

In the event will be screened the short film "SAMIOS", written and directed by Maria Giannoulis who will speak about the film.
