An inspiration of the moment while thinking how she could support Athens in difficult times, Elli Paspala was lead to a game of words inspired by the famous song of Cole Porter, “I love Paris”. This is how “I love Athens” was born. The Underground Youth Orchestra conducted by its founder, Costas Eliades proved to be the perfect match for this journey, while the orchestration of the song by David Lynch completed the picture.
The song “I love Athens” was recorded, evolved into a video clip and became the official slogan of a tournée started in September 2015 at the Athens Airport El.Venizelos. (with the support of the German and Canadian Embassies and Athens International Airport) The second of the concert series will be performed at the Benakis Museum,
