An evening event organized around the publication that accompanied the exhibition "Wor(th)ship. Tassos Vrettos" and the sounds that were recorded and presented as an organic part of this project.
During the first part of the event, the writers of the book and members of the worshipping and presented in the exhibition communities will recall experiences and share their thoughts.
The photographic practice, the anthropological, urban and social connotations of the primordial experience developed in those makeshift places of worship of immigrants and refugees in and around Athens, the curatorial role in this collaborative 'fieldwork', are some of the subjects which will be addressed.
Following the open to the public discussion, musicians-members of such communities will bring forward the sounds and rhythms, the noise and songs which belong to the specific photographic body.
