Erick van Egeraat (Amsterdam 1956) graduated from the Technical University of Delft, Department of Architecture, with honorable mention in 1984 and was the co-founder of Mecanoo – the renowned avant-garde architects. In 1995 he established (EEA) Erick van Egeraat associated architects with offices in Rotterdam, Moscow, Budapest, London and Prague. In order to better meet the demands of a portfolio as diverse as his, Erick van Eferaat successfully restructured his company early 2009 into what is now (designed by) Erick can Egeraat. He is the winner of RIBA Award 2007, Best building Award 2011 & 2012 and European Property Award 2013.

Erick van Egeraat is the professor at the International Academy of Architecture in Sofia, Bulgaria. He travels the world not only to work on his projects, but also to give lectures, workshops and master classes. His lecture, that will take place in Athens at the Benaki Museum, is entitled: “Galvanize the (European) City!”.
