Marika Klabatseka, soprano, composer and pianist of avant-garde scene, she is known for her daring interpretations and compositions at the free improvisations, but also the reconstruction from classical forms, presenting her performance “KALT”; she will interpret songs with main themes from Love, Life and Death, following the voices and tunes from Pavarotti, Nomi, and Maria Callas in Arias by Puccini, Verdi, Purcell and even Janis Joplin and Elvis Presley. The concert title is coming from the homonym German-Jewish song Yiddish “KALT” that had been written for the violent divorce during the World War II while they were moving at the Nazi’s camps.
