There is a presentation of the educational multimedia application “The Hidden Treasure of the Benaki Museum”, which application has come was brought about through the generous support of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology.
The project takes the form of a game. Children will test their abilities, make decisions, use their imaginations and learn to “see”. There are many things to explore with adventures and developments along a variety of routes.
The miniature digital museum in the “Hidden Treasure” includes samples from the Museum’s Collection of Modern Greek and Folk Art: paintings and etchings, embroidery, ceramics, jewellery, stone objects, worked metal and wooden objects; derived from various regions of the broader region that was historically Greek: Attica, the Eastern Aegean Sea, the Dodecanese, the Ionian Islands, Epirus, Crete, the Cyclades, Macedonia, the Sporades and Asia Minor. The application is available only in Greek.
