The concert will highlight some of the most beautiful songs that made their mark on Greek theatrical music, with wonderful melodies and known through exceptional performances given by great actors and singers. Written by distinguished Greek composers (Manos Hatzidakis, Thodoros Kouroupos, Nikos Kypourgos and Dimitris Papadimitriou).
The songs will be performed by Tasos Apostolou (bass-baritone) and Maria Milolidaki (soprano), accompanied by Christos Sakellaridis on piano.
The concert will be held under the auspices of the Board of Fellowships of the Alexandros S. Onassis Foundation, which, amongst its goals includes the promotion of high quality cultural events of wider social interest.
