The Benaki Museum will participate in the celebration of World Museum Day, by continuing the series of events it commenced in 2005, honouring the work carried out by particular cultural organisations throughout the Greek provinces. This second event in the series is dedicated to the V. Papantoniou Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation, which since 1975 has been a model setting the standard for folklore museums, for the breadth of its activities, with varied research and publishing work and multifaceted and innovative actions in the area of educational programmes and exhibitions.
