On the occasion of ninetieth birthday of painter Yiannis Moralis, the documentary “YIANNIS MORALIS” will be shown.
The documentary was written and directed by Stelios Haralambopoulos, with music by Nikos Kypourgos. It was shown during the 8th Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival (10-19 March 2006) and has received an International Federation of Film Critics–FIRPESCI Prize.
The showing will be preceded by introductory talks from Angelos Delivorrias, director of the Benaki Museum; Kostas Spyropoulos, general manager of the Greek State television network ERT; the Vice Chairman of the Greek Cinema Centre Dimitris Spiropoulos; publisher Anna Pataki; producer Thanos Lambropoulos; and the director.
