Antonis Vezirtzis 1950-1981
This book was published in parallel with the exhibition of the same name by sculptor Antonis Vezirtzis at the Benaki Museum (23/04/2008 -25/04/2008). It presents most of the works included in the exhibition, divided into four categories: abstract landscapes, small sculptures, iron ships and drawings.
The texts were written by Eva Mela, president of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and member of parliament for KKE (the Greek Communist Party); Kostas Argyris, sculptor; Spyros Karydakis, author; and Constantinos Papachristou, art historian.
