The Greek edition of the introductory texts for the catalogue of the exhibition “Byzantium 330-1453”, which was held at Burlington House, London, from October 25, 2008 to March 22, 2009 and was the result of a collaboration between the Royal Academy in London and the Benaki Museum. This volume gathers together texts written by major scholars of the Byzantine Empire, illustrated with the 400 objects in the exhibition, offering a contemporary approach to its art and culture.
