The kore now in the National Archaeological Museum (inv. no. 464) was repatriated in 2007 from the J. Paul Getty Museum in California, which had bought it in 1993. The kore comes from Paros, as is shown by comparisons with other sculptures, which are demonstrably from Paros, such as the kore from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (inv. no. 07.306), or which are thought to be works of Parian workshops. Compelling comparisons can be made with the korai from Delos (inv. nos 4067 and 4063), believed to be a Parian work, and with the caryatid from the Siphnian Treasury, also attributed to a Parian workshop. Comparing the kore with the Siphnian caryatid, dated to slightly before 525 BC and with the above mentioned korai helps date it to some time in the decade 530-520 BC.
